Every year an enormous amount of candidate fill IBPS Clerk Application Form . The IBPS board conducts exam for Clerical banking personnel for Public sector banks. IBPS started performing in 1975 as the Personnel Selection Services (PSS) which set-ups the recruitments for the banks, and they help the government organizations to hire deserving and eligible candidates. IBPS has a mission of enhancing human resource development by personnel assessment of candidates. In 2011, IBPS conducted a Common Written Examination (CWE) for selection of Indian banks. IBPS CWE is now mandatory for everyone who wants an employment in public sector banks and Regional Rural banks. The IBPS conducts the examination in various places.

Relaxation of Upper age limit

6. Persons ordinarily domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1-1-80 to 31-12-89 5 years
7. Persons affected by 1984 riots 5 Years
8. Regular employees of the Union Carbide Factory, Bhopal retrenched from service (Applicable to Madhya Pradesh state 5 Years

The relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC candidates is allowed on cumulative basis

Educational Qualifications (As on 01.09.2017)

Candidate should have a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
