IBPS PO 2019 Exam

IBPS provides its services to all Public-Sector Banks, SBI, Associate Banks of SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, LIC & Insurance companies and other Banks which are regular members of the IBPS society.

Public Sector Banking has become an illustrious career option in current times as it comes with the promise of attractive salary, perks, job security, fast growth and good work-life balance. Government of India had set up Personnel Selection Services (PPS) in 1975 for recruitment of probationary officers and clerks to all public-sector banks. PSS was later changed to Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in 1984 as per the mandate of Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

IBPS PO 2019 Exam Dates

The IBPS PO exam dates has been released in the latest notice released by IBPS. The important dates for IBPS PO /MT CWE IX 2019 are as follows:

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria - 2019

Educational Qualification

Graduation Degree: The eligibility criteria for the IBPS CWE exam is as basic as a graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech or as such) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India. Any such candidate who has received equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government is also eligible to apply for this exam.

The candidates must be in possession of a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that certifies that they are a graduate on the day they registers for this exam, and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.

Computer Literacy: Working knowledge of computer systems is necessary for the job as well as to give the IBPS PO exam which is conducted in online mode.

Language Proficiency: Verbal and written proficiency in official language of the State/UT is desirable. The candidate must be able to read, write and speak the language.

Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants:

A candidate applying for IBPS CWE/Bank PO Examination must be one of the following:

1. Citizen of India

2. Subject of Nepal or Bhutan

3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement

4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire,Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India

Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favour.

Age Eligibility of candidates applying for IBPS Bank PO Examination:

Any candidate who is applying for the IBPS CWE examination should not be less than 20 years oldand not more than 30 years old at the time of registration. In addition to this, there isage relaxation applicable to category wise candidates as per the government rules:

IBPS PO 2019 Vacancy

IBPS introduced 4252 vacancies for IBPS PO 2018-19 Exam. IBPS PO Vacancy 2019 is likely to be more or less same as that of last year.

IBPS PO Final Cut-Off 2017

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Board has finally released IBPS PO Final Cut-Off 2017. The cut-off will neable candidates to compare their score with the selected candidates and a get a fair idea of the minimum qualifying marks required to get the appointment letter from IBPS.
