Dearness Allowance

Dearness Allowance to Railway employees Enhanced from the existing rate of 9% to 12% of the basic pay with effect from 1st January, 2019.

RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot/ Technician)

  • Provide assistance to the Loco Driver in fine tuning of the locomotive
  • Help in minor repairing of the locomotive
  • Understand and identify the defects in tracks from jerks during travel
  • Check the locomotive regularly to ensure its efficiency and regularly check its breaking efficiency
  • Work for the maintenance, safety, security, and productivity of the locomotive
  • Assistance to Loco pilot in keeping  watch on railway signal
