In 2016, Students were able to score very high marks because they had 15 min. more compared to 2017 CGL Tier-1 Exam. This change in time limit has affected the CGL Exam in a big way. As we see polling from sites around 5 % candidates are in the range of above 160, in range of 140 to 160 around 15% candidates and majority of candidate’s around 20% score lies in the ranges of 120 to 130 In 2016, the tier-1 cut off was around 137 which was a record high. But for CGL Tier-1 2017, the cut off will be less compared to CGL Tier-1 2016.

The Expected SSC CGL Cut Off for Tier I based on following Factors:

  1. Analysis of SSC CGL Tier I 2017 exam.
  2. Exam Difficulty level.
  3. Polling data from different sites.
  4. Cut Offs trend of SSC CGL exam for 2015, 2016.
  5. The changes introduced into this year’s patterns (reduction in the exam timing from 75 minutes to 60 minutes).
